Station Road Closure

The Parish Council has received notification from the Northamptonshire County Council that Station Road will be closed to traffic for up to four weeks (although probably three weeks or shorter) for resurfacing.  The affected stretch is from the 30 mph speed limit sign just up from Seckingtons Stores up to the crossroads on Welsh Lane.  The signed diversion will be via Sulgrave.

Please note that we have not received a confident date from Northampton County Council for the commencement of the resurfacing  of Station Road.  I have a provisional date of 21st July but this is subject to  one or two technical issues with the rail bridge being resolved.

Please note: The surface in front of Helmdon Primary School is due to be replaced week commencing 30th June.  It is expected traffic lights will be operation for a couple of days.
