                        Testing Week

Did you know that a defective electric blanket may cause a house fire?

Get your electric blanket  tested from 26th to 30th October 2009*

If it’s dangerous we will replace it for free.

Northamptonshire County Council Trading Standards and

 Fire and Rescue Service is  offering free safety tests for electric blankets.

If our authorised assessor considers your blanket to be dangerous

 you may receive a free blanket.

Although blankets are made to strict standards any blanket which is used

 or stored incorrectly or is more than ten years old

may be a fire risk.

9.30 – 4 pm

26th October  - The Mounts Fire Station, Northampton

27th October  - The Tithe Barn, Wellingborough

28th October - The Abbey Centre,  Daventry

29th October - The Cornmarket Hall, Kettering

30th October Age Concern - Billing Road,  Northampton
