The Helmdon Hurlers Donate        £600 To Village Groups

Following the recent success of the Helmdon Hurler the committee are pleased to announce that they have donated £600 to various village groups.

£400 was donated to the Helmdon Acorns, and £50 cheques have been sent to the Helmdon Fellowship, Drop in Centre and Mum's and Tots group. £50 was also donated to "Help for Hero's " in recognition of current Helmdon residents serving in Afghanistan. This was kindly matched with another £50 by Owen Brunsden.

Once again the Hurler committee would like to thank all of our volunteers and look forward to their support again in 2011. Entries for next year's race are already coming in thick and fast !
