Notification of a Vacancy for a Parish Councillor.

A vacancy has occurred on the Helmdon Parish Council for a Parish Councillor and nominations to fill the vacancy are invited.

Applications should be submitted in writing to the Parish Clerk;

Mr Wilf Forgham, 50, Wappenham Road, Helmdon.

If a poll is claimed by ten electors, a bye-election of the usual kind by nomination and a poll will need to take place.

The poll must be claimed on or before the 13th June 2002, failing which the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option as soon as practicable.
