Surveys in the spotlight
Surveys completed by residents in Helmdon and the surrounding
villages have been used to compile a database of information
on the wants and needs of people in the area and will be presented
to the steering group next week.
The information gathered has been examined by organizers of
the survey and will now be put to the steering group next
Wednesday, April 21, where members will discuss ideas arising
from the responses.
Helmdon parish plan chairman Danny Moody was thrilled with
the response to the surveys and is looking forward to pushing
on with forming the plan itself.
He said:" I'm sure very good things are going to come
from the surveys, we just don't know what yet. "It was
a very successful exercise, we have started to analyse it
and look at it, now we've just got to say what we are gong
to do with it."
The meeting will see members of the steering group throw suggestions
around the table as they look at ways of approaching the various
comments made on the surveys, and the suggestions cold later
be used to help form the final draft of the parish plan.
