Helmdon Acorns Pre-School was decorated by employees from Barclaycard last week.

The 17  staff members volunteered their time to paint the building and build a fence as part of a Helping the Community scheme.

Liz Hart, a parent at the pre-school, said: ‘It was a fantastic boost to the project.’  The new community pre-school is due to open on January 5.
