Church forges links Baptists from Helmdon have twinned with the congregation of an Italian Church. The Helmdon congregation recently joined up with Towcester Baptists to form the Tove Valley Baptist Fellowship. The group has now forged links with Barletta Baptist Church in the wine and oil producing region of Puglia. Two members of the fellowship visited Barletta a fortnight ago and two Italians came to Helmdon and Towcester last week. Young people from the Italian church came to England to perform music and drama last year. Further visits are expected.
