Carnival 2002 The 2002 Helmdon Carnival will be more spectacular than last year's according to the organisers. The carnival takes place over three days during the August Bank Holiday weekend, and last year included live music, parachutists and the carnival procession. This year the plans are for a similar event with the theme based on the Queen's Jubilee celebrations. Carnival committee member, Peter Burns, said: "The theme is Jubilee. "It looks like it will be going from strength to strength, it will be the three days again, we are hoping for a lot more things to do." The Brackley Post - 18th January 2002
