Hunting In Helmdon - 13th March 2008
Go on the duck trail in Helmdon
on 21st – 24th March 2008!

aid of Helmdon Acorns Pre-School, follow the duck trail around the
village anytime over the Easter weekend and then hand your entry
form in at the Duck Trail Tea Party, Monday 24th March 2-4pm at
the Reading Room and enjoy children’s Easter activities, refreshments
and a chocolate treat for every child!

Acorns Ofsted Report - March 2001
A pre-school in Helmdon are celebrating
the results of their recent Ofsted report. Helmdon Acorns Pre-school
was inspected at the beginning of February and as a result of the
inspection will not be visited again for two to four years. Sandra
Wroe, chair person, said: " We're very pleased. It's a glowing
report and we could not wish for anything better. We've put in a
lot of hard work and it's been nice we've been recognised."

The Helmdon Acorns Christmas Bazaar 2000

The Acorns Bazaar in November 2000. |
The Acorns held their bazaar on Saturday
11 November 2000. Stalls included a raffle, tombola, cake stall, children's
games, second-hand toys, letters to Santa, and refreshments were provided.
Although the rain teemed down outside, inside the Reading Room everybody
was enjoying themselves hugely, and over £300 was raised for playgroup
funds.
