The Bell Public House

The Bell Public House
The Bell, Helmdon

The Bell, on the corner of Bell Close and Church Street, is the last surviving public house in the village. Your hosts are Richard & Sally Phillips and they assure you of a warm welcome at all times.

The pub has a pool team that plays in the Banbury & District League with matches on a Tuesday night. They are currently gunning for promotion from Division 5 so if you can play pool, and want to join the team please phone Richard or just go along on a Tuesday night.

There are also two darts teams; the Wednesday team plays in the Chipping Warden league whilst the Thursday team plays in the Brackley and District League. Again, if you can play darts and would be interested in joining either league please get in touch with Richard at the Bell.

The pub also hosts a very active (well, in the Summer anyway!) cycling club. Details of some of their 2001 rides, and the 2002 sponsored hundred miler, appear here.

The pub hosts many events including; karaoke, quizzes, & barbecues. There is also a big screen TV where you can watch your favourite programs and a pool table and darts board for honing your skills.

For any matter relating to the Bell, please contact Richard on 01295 768155.
